Alright guys, this started out as my first install.i have a v5 with dms4 pro SE.With no problem of soldering and routing wires i had high hopes for the end result.I plugged in the system for testing to see BSOD.After reseting multiple times it finally booted to browser screen.
To make a long story short i've checked every thing numerous times, tried separating wires and even completely removed all wires and solder and started over a few times. After getting discouraged I decided to disconnect power wire from chip to make sure i still had a playable ps2 and it booted right to browser screen.Just for giggles I decided to hold down square to disable the chip and it worked. So basically my system wont boot with power wire hooked up.
Can somebody please help me out with this because i am lost now
Thank You

what i did was got the smallest tip i could find for my soldering iron and even ground it slightly to make a smaller point.Thoroughly clean the pads and tin them and the wires. My chip came with wire and solder but i found it easier to use smaller solder on the pins.I actually used .015 diameter,it doesent take very much solder to make a good joint. GOOD LUCK!
