How to boot in to Dev1 and Dev2 mode?

I can't figure out how to boot to DEV1 or Dev2 mode, i don't know what is the modchip inside ma ps2 exactly but i would like to try out few methods of booting DEV1 & DEV2 modes, coz i have a v9 ps2 i think. and been modded and runs DVD9 perfectly. i bought it back in 2004. SO there is a big chance that i might have DEV mode supporting modchip, plz help guys, tell me all the methods ya know of how to boot to DEV modes,

well without knowing the chip it is really impossible
for anyone to tell you how to use different modes
Is there anything on your screen during load up that would
give a clue as to which chip it is? Like a name or
an image of any kind?
I know that the DMS4 Pro chip use to be the only chip that could
run a DVD9 back up game without patching it.
But most good modchips can run an original DVD9 game

smells like i got DMS4 pro then because i don't think this backup disc is a patched disc. so how do i boot dev modes on dms? nah, nothing no clues, just when i put the normal ps2 backups, it just starts the game, when i want to boot ps1 and dvd movies, i have to double tap the reset. oh by the way, all my ps2 games quickboots default without going in to that ps2 main menu saying, BROWSER ETC,

Maybe it could be ripper 3, because i just went to the website you gave me and it says DOUBLE TAP RESET to boot psx games.
