hi again can somebody please help,i am trying to move the channels and delete othres but once i have saved this they return to the positions they started of as.what am i doing wrong

which file are you modifying, as its the bouquet.xml file that is used to catergorise the channels in order - the services.xml will just store all the channels you scanned.

yeah the bouquet files but it just wont save them once ive moved them

when you move the file over you need to either reboot the box or do a channel refresh - just moving the file over wont change the channel order instantly
