No it won't. Downloaded movies are not in a "DVD-Video" format so will not have any CSS, Macrovision, ARcoSS encryption on them... They are usually .avi, wmv, etc. so they shouldn't be encrypted in the first place.

Downloaded movies are not encrypted so no, there are no programs for this. What exactly are you trying to do? Downloaded movies do need to be "converted" to be burned to a DVD though.
ConvertXtoDVD or NeroVision are favorites.

Actually I downloaded a football game, Boise State & Oklahoma and the vendor says it is not transferrable to a DVD or any other computer. I would like to make a DVD so I can watch it on my big screen HDTV instead of my computer monitor.

Try ConvertXtoDVD. they have the 21 day free trial.

I'd need to know more about the video to know if it's possible to convert it to DVD. If you load it into ConvertX and can't convert it then that tells me a lot. I would really like to know the file extension/format that this is in. Also if you could tell me where you downloaded it from then I could see what the deal is.

In most cases watching converted downloaded video on a large HDTV is going to have a "not so good" picture quality but it's something to try.

I am still in the process of downloading the movie. I have a 56k modem and it is taking over 30 hours to download movie. I still have 14 hours to go. It is being downloaded from http://www.direct2drive.com
I don't have the file extension yet as it is still being downloaded.
Thanks for the assistance.

I read what they said about not being able to watch a DVD made from the download on your TV, but you could watch same DVD on your PC.

If you have saved video files in any format you can generally do something with them to make them into a normal DVD. How good they will display is another matter.

30 hrs? I admire your patience!

I am watching football most of the time. I just let the computer run.
It does slow down my email and Internet a little, other than that there is no problem. I do have a 32 widescreen inch monitor so that is better than a 20 inch.
