i have a ps2 that can play dvd games but my laptop can only burn DVD+R will it play on the playstation any guides on how to burn them i have DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120% (ont show my disc drive)

any help?

depends on your PS2 all of them are a little different.
Anything above a V4 is SUPPOSED to play both
DVD-R and DVD+R
the only way to know for sure if your will is to burn one to a GOOD QUALITY DVD+R and see ifit works.
I know my V12 will play either
And something that will really help is if your burner
can booktype media. If it can you can booktype a DVD+R as a DVD-Rom which is a much more compatible format

and i assume you know that you need a modded PS2 to play any
games you burn.
look at the both threads at the top and you will find instructions
on how to make back ups of your games

yes thanx i have v11 and swap magic to play the games, it is a bulky and i know how to burn DVD-R can i still use DVD Decrypter to burn dvd+r's?

yes, it will burn either one. And it also has the booktype option
if you find out that your burner can do that.
Booktyping a DVD+R to DVD-Rom is a real good idea if your
burner can do it. I have mine set to do all DVD+R as DVD-Rom

my drive is called 'Slimtype DVDRW SOSW-833S V9S2 (ATA)' how do i set it up to booktype dvd-rom? would you be able to tel me in like a step by step guide (if it can be done that is)?

thanx im normally really good at computers its when it comes to +r media (of any sort) i have no idea lol
