Ok so I read the thread started by KraZvideo and went ahead and uninstalled Nero, DVDShrink, and AnyDVD. After using the links in the for mentioned post I re installed Nero then DVDShrink and AnyDVD. I also adjusted the burn speed to 8x and now its working fine. If anyone has updated their Firmware drop me a line. I am not experienced in updating that and dont want to mess it up. Thanks to everyone that posted solutions!

updating your firmware is easy it just a file you download then you reboot

just make sure your drive is empty and open the tray then download the file . look for your drive/burner update here
