What is up with all of these companies selling Ritek G04 disks that have wrappers on them that clearly say Ridata? Is Ridata a subset of Ritek, is it trustworthy?

I just want to order some G04's - a lot of the stores out there seem like scam artists...can anyone explain the above and point me in the right direction?

Ritek make media for different companies. Traxdata discs are ritek though i can only find G03's. Clone disc from dvd-and-media.com are very good quality Ritek G04's, i use them.

Ridata is Ritek's official "direct-from-factory" brand for CD and DVD media, so, no worries there.

frankly, you don't know what you're going to get when you buy Riteks as no one "reputable" sells them. Even if you get them, there is no guarantee that particular batch may work for your drive. So "caveat emptor".

All Ridatas I've seen were great quality, A-grade Ritek.

Check batch codes. H4 and H6 are virtually always high quality
