I have had my ps2 for years and can boot my backups of my CDROM games easily (just need to get the timing right), but have never been able to boot a backup of a dvd rom based game

I have a ps2 (premodded) containing NEO 2 mod + action replay 2 version 1.3

i`m thinking about buying a Swapmagic Discs + Slide tool "kit"

will this enable me to boot my DVD Rom based backups or is there way of running them with my current setup

or will i just be wasting my money
