my network 3 in ireland say they have codes for 6280 but do not have format....i hear the format is the same for every nokia... if i buy the codes can you help me do you think?

just want to unblock from 3 network to put in irish 'meteor' network sim. and be able to text and make calls, nothing else really, when i bought it i thought i'd use the internet, but all i ever do is check cinema times with it!! does that answer the question.... not really sure what format means in relation to phone!

Only the network the mobile was originally on (3) can give you a working code.

The mobile will have to be registered in your name, & there will be a charge for the unlocking code.

Call them up again and ask for the code when you have the code they should give you some instructions on how to enter the code.
