Swap magic 3 issue

I have just installed all the magic keys on my slimline ps2 however when I try to boot a backup it makes a clicking noise and the disk does not seem to spin fast enough, eventually i get a DRE. This happens when i try to boot the original using swap magic too.
Any Ideas?

Im assuming that your booting the games using the swap magic disk, do you get the DRE with your backups only, or with all disks?
What disks are you burning to?
And at what speed?

Ah sorry i fixed this by using the correct disk. I was being stupid and using the cd disk not the dvd one. Thanks:)
