yes it is! That is the female mort of the Dul-Shock! I wouldn't buy the intercooler! It caused several problems with the 360! The PS3 has great ventalation!

wait im confused, im looking at my ps2 controller and the socket looks the same as that socket meaning it wont go through. Doesn't that mean that its for a ps3 controller to work for the ps2 system?

That pic looks like a preproduction rendering. And bad at that because the ps2 end is the male end, not the female end which is needed.

But that's alright, though. Someone was going to release an adapter soon. They're just giving a general idea of what it'd look like.

I just checked Pelican's site and they have no info for it. Why would ebgames have info and Pelican don't? And that review left on ebgames makes no sence. How is his ps2 controller going to have motion sensing capabilities and his ps3 controller have rumble?

Also, this would only be good for playing ps2 games anyways(or not spending $50+ for a 2nd, 3rd, or so on ps3 controller). You're not going to use your ps2 controller to get rumble out of a ps3 game. PS3 games don't support rumble.

Dualshock(tm) to USB adapters have been around for ages (mostly for using DDR pads on a computer.) I don't see any reason why one wouldn't work on the ps3, but I still have yet to test it. I think I might get one like THIS and let you guys know how it turns out.

Guitar Hero misses me... :(

the guitar hero controler isn't compadiple because it dosen't have the anolog button that you must turn on!
