go to msinfo32 and its under your components then storage then scsi if you have the drivers for it

click on start => run and type: msinfo32.exe

go to components => storage => scsi

OR

open your computer case and look on the motherboard to see if you have a sata ports. if you don't know what a sata connector looks like, then forget about flashing your xbox 360 DVD.

yes, there is something under (components => storage => scsi)
yes, a see the SATA on the motherboard

yes they are the same thing. you do have sata on your motherboard.

Now, see what chipset you have. You may have to look at your motherboard manual or search the internet for the manual. it should tell you what chipset your sata is.

if your sata is not on the compatible list, then you can still flash the dvd rom. just read the sticky here about this.

if your sata is on the list, then you can just go into the bios and disable ide and boot up from a floppy.
