Recently I got my Swap Magic 3.8v disc and magic key 2 sets yesterday. When I tried to installed it, I had problems with one thing, which was surprisingly, the Swap Magic 3.8v DVD disc on my silver, slimline SCH-7700x PS2. What I mean by surprisingly is that I had everything set up with the disc running when the lid was open; disc break held firmly to the right side; and the on/reset button covered/held down well. The problem is that the darn disc can't smoothly lock onto that clip belt, or whatever it's called, evenly. Like 1 out of every 5-10 tries, it seems like it's tilted; and finally, when I managed to actually get it properly in place, it doesn't look nor feel like it's snuggled in place.

I was wondering if anyone else had problems using the Swap Magic 3.8v on the same PS2 version as me or is it just a defective DVD disc?

although i havent had your problem; i am not too happy with the 3.8 coder release of the disk either! :( i bought the 3.8 instead of 3.6, just goes to show that newer versions arent always better. It has a terrible time loading any of my backups. I know this because i compare it with cogswap which loads my backups very quickly (MC Exploit) and SM disks take forever, when they do load they stutter alot or they just dont load at all... Wish i had know. now im spending my time looking for an NTSC SM 3.6 disk iso...until they update 3.8 to a better version so i can trade my disk in.

Thanks for the response, and I know what you mean. I managed to contact the place I bought it from; and hopefully, they'll be sending me a replacement so I guess it was just a defect from what I explained. (can't believe it's like 1mm too big...) And yes, to any of those reading this thread, I highly don't recommend getting the Swap Magic 3.8v coder too. Surprisingly enough, my friend's Swap Magic 3.6 loaded my backups just fine but when I use my workable Swap Magic 3.8v CD disc, not the damaged DVD disc I mentioned previously, it takes an irritable amount of time to load. I appreciate the help, but I'll just consider this matter close since I'm getting a replacement (hopefully it isn't going to be bad either)
