Best S-VHSC camcorder I can get?

my s-vhsc camcorder is loosing quality and I need a good replace in order to continue transferring all my vhs-c et tapes the best I can.

Wouldn't it just be a lot easier to use an adapter and capture from your VCR?

Didn't you know vhs-c tapes don't play very well on some vcrs... at least on mine it doesn't... the playback quality is inferior of the camcorder... I don't you think you notice it on the TV but it shows wear on the AVI on the PC.
