I have a slimline PS2 and got swap magic 3.6 with a Fliptop. I have installed the flip top. I put it the DVD Swapmagic and it loaded, then i took it out using fliptop and put in the DVD-R. It then said invalid Ps2 disc. I clicked load program it stayed still for a second then flashed and done nothing again. I restarted with DVD Swap Magic and swapped it with my Orginal and it still said Invalid PS2 Disc. I clicked Load Progam by pressing X and it loaded. Basically, it won't load my backups. Can anyone please help me, i think its the way i burned it.

U say that you tried your original and it didnt load then straight after you say it loaded? Which one is it?

Also if its only the backup thats not working. Try using a more expensive top quality media. And burn the back up at a lower speed or at most half the speed of the recommended speed. I recommend 8x media and burn at 4x.

I burnt at 4x, i know how to do all that. I have followed instructions on all sites. So, when I load swap magic 3.6[/] it comes to the main screen where it says Load and Video Mode. Now i change the disc to the copy when it says Insert Bigger TOC. It then says Not A Valid PS2 Disc. I press Load Program, it then freezes for a couple of seconds then does nothing. But when I do all that with an [b]Original PS2 disc (EG. FIFA 07) when it says Refresh TOC. It goes back to the main screen still saying Not A Valid PS2 Disc. But this time when I pressed Load Program it loaded. I have tried DVD-R & DVD+R but the originals still seem to work. Can you help please? What am i doing wrong?
Thanks

Hmmmm, thats interesting. It is not suppose to say Insert Bigger Toc with a custom fliptop as the machine shouldnt know that you have opened the top in the first place. Unless there is more to the fliptop. I have never installed the flip top but it sounds like the sensors. When installing the fliptop, did you cover the sensors or does the fliptop itself cover the sensors that warn the ps2 that the disc tray is open?

It doesn't matter anymore. I fixed the problem, the lid had a little bend in the corner making it not close fully. I have to put a little weight on it so it detects its closed. All working fine now, thanks anyway
