Hey,
I've been playin my ps3 for a while now and love it. I do however, have a question. Are any games actually using the sixaxis controllers motion sensors yet? I know games like resistance incorporate it a little (like shaking it when chimera jump on you to get them off) but are any titles actually using it as a main part of the game? I am a little disappointed atm as the wii seems to be doin alot more with motion sensitivity...
P.S. Do any future titles plan on using the sensors more?
yes sixaxis will be incorporated into more of the titles as they are released. i know that NHL 2K7 incorporates it, while your playing if you want to check someone you thrust the controller forward and your guy will lay someone out. its pretty cool but i don't think any of the games today are using the controller's full abilities.
heres some info on madden and the sixaxis controller
Quote:On the other hand, the PS3 version of Madden does take advantage of the SIXAXIS Controller, although the instruction manual and in-game screens don't clearly explain how. On the defensive side of the ball, players can get their Ray Lewis or Brian Urlacher on by thrusting the controller in the ball carrier's direction. Time it just right, and you'll crush the opponent with a massive hit. The defense can also attempt to jump the snap count and get into the backfield by pushing the controller toward the offensive line. However, this motion requires precise timing for two separate reasons. Obviously, if you jump the count too early, you can be flagged for encroachment. But the other significant reason is because if you jump the count too late, the game may think you're trying to use the Hit Stick functionality and take your player out of position to make a play on the ball unintentionally. For offense, Quarterbacks can use the SIXAXIS controller to attempt to draw overeager defenders offsides with a fake snap. Instead of pressing a button, players can snap the controller up and back towards them, which may get some defenders to bite on the fake.
Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?

Call of Duty 3 definitly uses it. To bash a dude off u, drive the vehicles, climb up things, and row boats. Its a good start. Also the Motor Storm demo if u hit start while playing it u can drive the vehicles with the controller and the joysticks are disabled. It's getting pretty kool. I can't wait for more.
