Difference between modchip and custom firmware?

I have been thinking about getting a modded 360 and i was just wandering what the differnce was between a modchip and a firmware being put into the cd drive. Cause if i get a modchip then do i have to update it with the sata or usb but if i get one with custom firmware do i have to keep updating it. please can someone help me out!!!

lots of people having issues with modchip.

go for firmware flash. it's easy

not every time a new one comes out, unless you want to, only when they make games that require a different firmware

no, all you have to do is pre-order the Blaster 360.

This will have connections on the outside of the xbox 360 so that you dont have to open up the xbox each time.

It will be release and sold by Feb 16.

but it is recommended that you update firmware when they come out.
