hey when i try to sign into xbox live for halo 2 it signs me in and then says that i have a message from xbox live and if dont read it i cant play online. so i click yes and it takes me to the account management screen but it shows no messages or w/e. i can play 360 games online but not halo 2???? WHY??? PLZ SOMEONE HELP ME OUT!!

yes but my friend has halo 2 and he can play it on his 360. also halo 2 is backwards compatible.

any xbox 1 game i play...all 360 games are fine

CAUSE
You will receive this message if the following conditions are true:
? You use a child?s Xbox Live account when you try to sign in to Xbox Live by using the Halo 2 in-game menu.
? You have the Original Xbox Online Games setting set to Blocked in the Family Settings area of the Xbox Dashboard.

How to Fix!

1. In the System section of the Xbox Dashboard, select Family Settings, and then press the A button.
2. Select Xbox Live Controls, and then press the A button.
3. Type the pass code that you previously set for the console.
4. Select Original Xbox Games, and then press the A button.
5. Select Allowed, and then press the A button.
6. Select Done, and then press the A button.
7. Select Yes to save the change.
