ok, maybe you miss understood...
@nyder:
This is just showing you a cheap ($0) and easy way to do it without spending money for a flip top or trying to modify your PS2 and do something you probably don't know (Or you wouldn't be looking for a guide...) how to even do. I Don't think its worth risking my PS2 by putting a MOD chip on it. (I can but most people edited by ddp up, get a pro amature!) Also, you can't modify your PS2 eject button the way YOU would like too. Its "engraved" into your PS2 and being a knowledgeable person with electronics, you CAN'T edited by ddp with it because there is a certain "pattern" that the PS2 needs to operate in (This is where the MOD chip comes in, but as I said, you could/will screw your PS2 up)...when you press eject its part of the "pattern", theres NO getting around it. If you know things about circuit boards, I could tell you exactly why you can't. Add my email i'manidiot.com edited by ddp on Yahoo or send a email and I'll explain more if you like. So no you can't or ever will find a guide for it. I hope this answers your question, leave feedback.
@OARRaider:
This is true about your warranty. You will lose it, but I guess it never mattered to me since mine was up anyways. Then again if you have an older PS2 (Which it has to be in order to do the memory card exploit. v11 and down. I think these are old by now...?) the warranty would be up anyways. Its up to you if you want to do it, its just a suggestion. Also about the laser, as long as the disc is NOT spinning or the PS2 is off, the laser will NOT be activated so it won't be shooting you in the eye or anything. As long as your careful, nothing should happen to your PS2, as I said, I've had mine this way for years.
