Hi, I searched but could not find a situation like mine. I just got my Magic Keys II set and installed two 1 and 2 with ease. When I got to tool 3 I had a bit of a problem, but got it working after about five minutes and then my PStwo stops spinning disks, so I'm puzzled as to why it happened. I removed all 3 Magic Keys and now it still does not work. Does anyone know why? Should I just return it for a new one (since its still under warrenty)
It could be that the switch that tool C holds down, was damaged while you were inserting the key, since this switch is actually very sensitive. If your ps2 is stull under warranty, then get a replacement.
I'm afraid to put the keys in when I get a new replacement one. I guess I will just have to stick to my old v4 ps2 with the flip-top cover to play imports.
if you get the correct magic keys for your version PS2,
and you installed them with care and correctly then i am sure
you will be fine. That or you coult just void your warranty and send it into a place like teammodders and have a modchip installed.
After that it is smooth sailing.
