help- can i use DL DVDs to burn games ?


I have a DL DVD burner.

i was wanting to know if i can burn using DL DVDs.

will a PS2 play DL DVDs. ?

becuase some games are to big and need to rebuild.
and i really don't understand how to rebuild games. sound to hard.

If you have modchip that supports dual-layer discs, then yes.

Rebuilding DVD9 games to DVD5 isn't difficult, just carefully follow the step-by-step guides available on afterdawn (ie. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/275350).

If you have a DMS4 Pro mod chip then yes, you can back it up and the PS2 will play it.
With other chips you need to patch the file with ToxicDL Patcher before you burn it for it to play.
If you use Swap Magic then you can not, it can not play DVD9
