I read in this month's PSM that you can sync your iPod or mp3 player to the ps3. I tried connecting my iPod and nothing happened. Anybody have any luck with this?

I dont think that they are plug and play like the shuffle you do need the software Itunes to put music on them I could be wrong if so its the same reason you xcant use a USB modem.

There are alot of USb deices that you would asume work with the PS3 that dont! I have a wireless USB keyboard that dosen't work! I contacted sony and they said that right now only wired keyboards will work! That sucks!

My PS3 recognized my ipod. I plugged it in. it took a couple minutes b4 the ipod icon showed up on photos, music and videos. i could play all my music files and view my photos. i can copy photos from my ipod to my ps3 but it wont let me copy music. when i pressed triangle, the options came up but the copy button is grayed out. anyone know a way to get around this?
One more thing. i did the same thing with my external HDD. plugged it in but it didnt recognized it.

i have my wireless keyboard and mouse hooked up and they both work fine.

the response is great on everything except backspacing with it takes a few milliseconds longer than if you use the controller to backspace. other than that, i havent noticed any lag at all. i usually sit about 10-12 feet away and the ir reciever is on top of my tv(~4.5-5 feet off the ground).

yer ive also got a cordless logitech keyboard and mouse that i picked up from walmart yesterday for 34.99.. They both work great and have no problems with the response time.

i have Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse (2.0A if that matters) and Wireless Multimedia Keyboard(1.0A) and they both work fine

I can't imagine Sony making it easy for someone to use anything Microsoft on the PS3 ;)

Can anyone help with connecting a Dell DJ to the PS3? Everytime I connect I can't even browse any files because the PS3 doesn't recognize it. Help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Aww... Dell Djs! I hate those pices of Shit... my sister is on her third We are trying to talk Dell in to giveing us Store Credit cause the Hard Drive keeps dieing... she got fed up with it and went out and bought an iPod!
