Happy Friday to all...

I've got a Sony DCR-HC46 miniDV camcorder. I'm generally pleased with it, although I know there are better out there. It just doesn't do as well as I'd like in indoor lighting conditions.

Question is, has anyone had any experience with these less-than-$100 video lights? I'm talking Sima, Dynex, Sony, etc. I've seen some that are 3w, 10w, 20w, and I just don't know what I need. Some are as cheap as $30, others are pushing $100. I don't want it to blind the subject. It would have to be an aftermarket thing, because my cam doesn't have a shoe at all. I've googled, but there aren't many reviews out there for these lights, and was just wondering if any of you fine people use them.

Thanks in advance for your input!
Craig
