analog nub acting weird

help my analog nub is acting weird, especially on certain games like virtua tennis and ridge racer, but on other games its doing fine like nba live and portable ops, its weird, is it the hardware or is the games itself only? help

I have problems with my nub while playing Portable Ops all of a sudden the charachter will start to drift to the left

if its bothering you that much, try openning up your psp and juss cleaning off all the bad stuff inside your psp. but i take no responsibility for whatever you do. it could be that OR your analog stick has been pushed and held to one side so much that its stuck there. its rare but possible. i honestly think its something easy to fix.
