So before anyone calls me a newb and tells me to learn how to search the forums I want to say that I have been using this site for months now and this is the first time I've posted. I usually find my answers in the forums no problem. However, this problem has had me thinking for a while and I can't seem to find the solution. Now that that's out of the way, let me tell you guys what's going on.

I have a fatty ps2 modded with a flip-top, no mod-chip. Before I was using AR Max Evo Swap Magic Edition and Swap Magic 3.6 however, I got a puppy and he got a hold of my original DVD's. Luckily for me, I had backed them up onto my HDD (glad I learned how to do that before I got the puppy. Thank you afterdawn community). So anyways, I now use a MC exploit with a ps1 triggerdisk and use COGSWAP for my swapping needs. I've read numerous times that it's not possible to use a backup ar max and a backup swap magic to load a backup game. I don't believe this to be true. When I use the backup AR Max it loads fine lets me pick the codes fine all of this is no problem. The problem comes when I try to start the game. The swap magic edition is set up to load PS2LOAD.ELF when the disk starts. After I pick my codes, I tell it to start game and leave the AR Max backup in the console. It then re-loads the disk and starts again at the DVD loader. Supposedly hitting the triangle button will make the disk stop spinning allowing me to swap it. However when I press the triangle it opens the disk tray instead. I've tried different ways to make the disk stop spinning but with no success. I also tried changing the SYSTEM.CNF file to let me load COGSWAP from the dvdloader menu. I put the COGSWAP.ELF into the disk iso and also put in another option to try and load it off of the memory card. Whenever I try to load COGSWAP the system just freezes. It won't load off of the disk or the MC. I really think that it's possible to make it work and would like to hear any suggestions anyone has. Below is the contents of the SYSTEM.CNF that I edited. If anyone wants to help me with this I can get screen shots and more info if needed. Any help would be greatly appreaciated guys.

\AR MAX EVO\cdrom0:\SLUS_200.90;1
\COGSWAP\mc0:\BADATA-SYSTEM\COGSWAP.ELF;1
\COGSWAP CD\cdrom0:\COGSWAP.ELF;1
\MENU 4\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 5\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 6\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 7\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 8\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 9\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 10\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1

P.S. This isn't the SYSTEM.CNF that the disk loads first. This is MSYSTEM.CNF which controls the menu in the dvdloader.
