New to DVD Shrink, I have downloaded several movies, but once in a while I hit one that wont analyze and wont rip. CARS, Crank, Dead Mans Chest. Ive gotten different messages why they wont work. Something about "state of" something or the other, sometimes it just wont do anything at all. Madagascar wouldnt because it had components that "might mess up my computer" Do I need something else or is it because the movies are newer or what? Its 3.0 version.

Hi Deric1
The ones that are giving you those errors have newer copy protection that Shrink can't handle. Since it's no longer updated it needs some help.

So you can rip w/ DVDFab Decrypter then open those files in Shrink.

Or use RipIt4Me which also uses Shrink.

Not free but has a 21 day free trial is AnyDVD which runs in the background removing the copy protection.
