thanks for the reply. yah i think so. i haven't tried games. but whenever i play the umd video it always says "the disc cannot be started. the region code is not correct."

umd videos are not region free ,unlike games

if you have a PAL psp you must have a PAL umd video
if you have a NTSC psp you must have a NTSC umd video

how will i know the psp is a PAL or NTSC and the UMD video is a PAL or NTSC? thanks..

PAL is for europe, australia...
