Hello,

I am trying to burn a dvd. I used Nero 7 to try to burn a copy of the dvd but when I went to burn it said that the dvd is copy protected and can not be read. SO I ran the DVD through A-ray and it said [22:06:47 PM] DvdCrypt CSS/CPPM detected. How can I burn this DVD? I have NO CLUE!! Thanks

hi sherrilyn

i am no expert at burning dvd's but i do burn dvd's and i have learnt alot from visiting this website, but what i use alot is DVD Shrink and DVD43 if i have problems with DVD43 which i do at times is i use AnyDVD , see what i've learnt is that you need either DVD43 or AnyDVD running in the background to override the copyright protection but you have to have either one they will conflict with each other if used together, i tend to use fab dvddecrypter also which i find usefull, if you need any more help drop me a line or try having a read of the guides

what I suggest to you is get the 21 day trial of AnyDVD and CloneDVD found here: slysoft.com
run AnyDVD in the background and then follow the guide:
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/...edvd_page_3.cfm

or you can just use the freeware RipIt4Me:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/360110,
download the programs and follow the guide!

it is very simple close all other programs
then run AnyDVD
after it is running insert your dvd
wait for it to load, it will tell you information about the dvd
open CloneDVD
click the middle option (i believe its the clone dvd button)
set it to DVD-5
click next
maybe next again
and then copy
blah blah blah follow the directions on the screen you should be fine
