is there any app that lets u reconvert ur psx EBOOT back to an ISO after u converted the ISO to an EBOOT? i want to try to use CDGEN to reduce the size of the ISO before i convert it to an EBOOT so it doesnt take up much space.

PSX2PSP or w/e it's called will do it. It has an option to "Extract ISO". There is currently no tool to uncompress a PSX iso tho. Once compressed, it's compressed. I try to keep the original image file as often as I can remember.

correction, popstrip will extract compressed iso files.

Did anybody have any luck stripping size off of a PSX iso with cdgen before they ebooted it? I couldn't get my head round the tutorial of how to make the LBAs match up. COuldn't be bothered in the end,Not worth it just to save a few MB.

Loving this PSX stuff now! Halfway through THPS2, reminding me of my days as a freshman uni student about 5 years ago, classic!
