I know ppl other than mods will read this - This in regard to all the changes currently being made here at aD.

I wanna see what ppl think of this idea:

You never know you have a PM until you actually go into your inbox. What w/ all the changes being made, I think it would be nice to get a small notice to let you know you have 1 New Message(s) when you log in or come back to the site. Maybe a pop up or something.

Anyone feel where I'm coming from on this? Or is this a dumb idea?

yeah i think that is a good idea except maybe not a pop up but a notice near the search bar that tells you that you have recived a message.

Even just a small red box or something to let us know, i know some sites do similar things, and it's actually nice to be able to have that announcement.
