i justed downgrade 2.80 to 1.5 but my games won't play. it says that i need to update but i don't want to upgrade. what should i do?

upgrade to 3.02 oe custom firware by da or 3.03 oe
or use devhook if you dont want to flash again

no. just follow the directions and read carefully.

ppl who can't follow directions cause bricks. not devhook or downgraders.

Devhook shouldn't cause it to brick, no. Usually that can only happen when you're flashing (down/upgrading)

Danger aside, forget about devhook. I was afraid too, but just last night and today I upgraded with DA's 3.02-oeA formware. It's a blast, no need for devhook anymore and all the UMDs will play. I'm in the middle of upgrading to 3.03 right now. Just be VERY careful and follow the instructions to the letter and you can't go wrong. To get the 3.02, there's an easy installer available at psp-hacks.com

i really recomend custom firware by da u have alot of advantage.

devhook is not also 100% compatible with all game.

start out with Dark_Alex's 3.02-oeA, and from there you can upgrade easily to the 3.03-oeA and up.

well if i decided to upgrade to those firmware will there be a way to go back to 1.5

Yes, the program I just linked to for you can also install a 'backdoor' menu with a 1.50 recovery feature. when you're running the installer, it'll give you 2 options. install the firmware or install the recovery. Obviously do the firmware install first, then once that's done run the installer again and choose to install the recovery. The installer program walks you through every single step, with voice prompts too!
