I have a PS2 SCPH-30001 R, SWAPMAGIC 3.8, and a Western Digital Caviar WD600 60.0 GB IDE Hard Drive.

What can I do?
I took the Expansion Bay cover off and I don't see any cables or anything. Exactly what do I need to buy? Basically all I want is to be able to convert my games to HD format and play them from it.

EDIT
I also have a PS2 SCPH-75001 a, SWAPMAGIC 3.8, and a Western Digital MYBOOK WD3200|032 320.0 GB USB Hard Drive.

I have tried USBAdvance and the game compatibility is very bad. So I got my girlfriends old PS2 and now I need some help. I would also like to find a Sony Network Adapter for a good price. Wal-Mart has them for $19.82 and there out of stock: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=1974925

Please help...

Try local walmart instead of online walmart, gamestop and other game stores like that. It's a fairly common item, you can also find em on ebay.

Obviously not so common. Wal-Mart, K-Mart and G2KGames which are all a 30 minute drive don't have a network adapter. Sony doesn't make the Network Adapters anymore.

Little feisty eh? I'm trying to help you, and honestly, I don't enjoy sarcasm when I offer help. Your question has been asked and answered before, but I gave you benefit of the doubt as you are a junior member instead of a newbie. Obviously I was mistaken, and I will give you the same advice I give all the newbies, USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION.

Wait, let me get this straight...You used the information I gave you and then attacked me with sarcasm? I didn't only attempt, I was successful, and you still have the nerve to give me sarcasm? Seriously? A thank you would have been nice, but I could have gone with no reply instead of rudeness...Sometimes I think AD registration should include an IQ test.

Try google,
that's www.google.com
type in the following phrase, "PS-2 network adapter"
hit enter, be wowed and amazed by a long list of people trying to sell you the piece of hardware you are seeking. I didn't realize that they made an adapter for dial up, but the do. The internet is way too cool, what did we do before this?

I liked this one.
a lazy start,
http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=584191/
and of course,
www.froogle.com
http://froogle.google.com/froogle?hl=en&...network+adapter
Hope this helps.
