Not sure if this is the right forum but I didn't see where else to put it. I have been using the free version of DVDFab and when I cut it on today it said there was an upgrade version for download. Easy enough I go ahead and do so and then notice it was a trial version of DVDFab Platinum. Only functional for 30 days. Can I simply uninstall it sometime before the 30 day period and then jut use my DVDFab version (Think it's version 3.5) whereas the Platinum is 3.5.50 but don't quote me. Or can someone hook me up with a registration number :)

You did not update the free version. Go into the control panel and remove it. Then go to http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm Then you will have the latest version for free.

Thanks, another question if you don't mind. The Ripit4me program I saw you post in another thread. I downloaded it and now have a question. Do I put movie in then run ripit4me then use Fab to finish decrypting it? Then Shrink/Nero. Where does Ripit4me come in the equation?

No, when you download RipIt4Me you should download all of the programs that come with it. DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, and FixVTS. Then with the movie in the drive run RipIt4Me. Here is a guide on how to use it that was written by one of my buddies "alkohol". http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/422740

If you are using RipIt4Me, it takes a little longer, but you will get great results with it. Feel free to ask as many questions as you need to. That's what we are here for.

I've been visiting the RipIt4Me site off and on all evening. It's never failed to open for me. So I don't know what's happening unless the site is playing "musical chairs".
DVDFab Decrypter has a beta out that is updated for Saw 3.

paschal93 supplied that on the big Saw 3 - Shrink thread. 3.0.5.5 is the versions of the software at DVDIdle that's up for download right now. I don't know when the update will be out or when/if the 3.0.6.0 beta will be posted.
