imbNES on slim PS2 without mod chip

I was hoping someone could clarify if it is possible to run imbNES with my current system. I have a slim PS2 v15 and swap magic v3.6 plus. I really don't want to buy GameShark, Action Replay, or Breaker Pro as I am not going to be playing any PS1 backups. I also want to avoid swapping PS1 disks while the CD is still spinning if possible. I have an original PS1 game and am searching for something like cogswap or CDloader that will work for this emulator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
