i downloaded smartripper several time and each time i try to use it i get the same error. when i start up smartripper i get a blue screen that says " Windows protection error. You must restart your computer." I am using windows ME. Any help would be appreciated. if you wish you can email me at *no-email-addresses-please* plz put smartripper for the subject

Unfortunately I don't have a solution to your problem, but don't post your email address to boards, it makes all frigging spambots interested of the site and they start harvesting mail addresses to their penis enlargement ads.

smurf069, I would try using another ripper like DVDdecryptor and see if the problem persists.

Actually, I would drop Win ME and go W2K.

I have win ME and have had the same problem. I downloaded CloneAD's CladDVDXP and have had no problems ripping any DVD I want. It is one of the easiest rippers I have come across. Just go to there site and read the user manual. It's pretty simple!
