I want to buy this to use with my laptop in the future to update with the latest hack firmware for my xbox. i dont have a desktop pc,i have a laptop and i just want to make sure will this be anygood or will i just waste my money on something i will never use?

Is there anything i can use without opening my xbox all the time? i read somewhere that there is something like this or its being developed, cant remember as i was reading it early in the morning and past bed time
