game cd not working

I bought a new PS2 last december whenever I put my game cd's it will show the messgae insert playstation 2 cd.

Its playing movie DVD's without any hassle but non of the games are working on it(DVD's or CD's)[img][/img]. The details of the hardware & firmware are as follows

Console:- SCPH-75004

Firmwares
---------

Browser:- 1.4.0
CD player:- 2.00
Playstation 2 Driver:- 2:00
DVD Player:- 3.11E


Somebody help me out with this havent even played a single game with it.

Mabye yu have a faulty laser.
You still have warranty, so I suggest to return it. DO NOT OPEN IT!!!!
