hey you guys umm i was just wondering can anybody explain to me about the iso and mds fiels please i just read a game with DVD Decrypter and copyed it onto my hd but it has made 2 files 1 mds and 1 iso which one should i use?

The .MDS file is a small meta file that contains description information about the associated ISO. The .MDS file contains the layer break (for dual-layer backups) as well as other helpful information regarding burning. It is not an ISO file nor can a .MDS file be converted into a ISO. You must have the ISO; however, you can usually have an ISO without a .MDS file. To answer your question, when burning, I always burn from the .MDS file if there is one. Choose the .MDS as a matter of habit.

cheers mate your a champ oh and 1 more question would you have any idea how to connect a new slimline ps2 to the internet so i can play online with games such as monster hunter and socom as in like what i need and stuff? any help would be very much appreciated but if ya cant no probs.

well for the internet you can do it two ways. Either with a crossover cable like this:

or if you have a wireless routher then you can buy a wireless gaming adapter.

As far as how to set it all up, check the users manual that came with the PS2 or go to the official Sony PLaystation webpage, they will have instructions.
