Do you use a ethernet crossover cable or a ethernet patch cable to connect to xbox live?

use a patch cable mate just to be safe, never tried it with a cross over

depends how you connect it to the internet, if your plugging it into a pc to share its internet connection yous crossover cable, if plugging into a network ie. hub or router, with an shared internet gateway use your usual ethernet which should have came w/ the box
