I have an 52" Phillips Plasma and I am not getting a picture running the HDMI from the PS3 to my tv. Anyone have an idea why?

Why did you post this twice? Also, don't you have to turn on HDMI on the PS3 or something, try connecting a different way and checking your output options.

Set up the connections correctly. Switch to your HD settings on your tv. When you turn on your Playstation hold the power button until you hear the second beep (about five seconds. The PS3 will go into auto detect mode and you should be able to follow some choices through to setup for high definition gaming.
