I had tried to flash my drive (47DH) but it did not work out at all. Now, WinXP 32bit does not see it at all. WinXP 64bit sees it as an unknown device in Deveice Manager but cannot assign any letter to it. I tried using MTKFLASH but it does not recognize it at all (I get the "no drives detected" message). I now have another 47DH in my disposal (which MTKFLASH "sees") but I still have to insert my X360's original key in it. Unfortunately my original drive is practically dead, and on top of it I lost the original firmware backup. Yes, stupid does not even want to be with me anymore :)

1. Is there any way possible to get the key from the original drive? I just need the key, not the entire firmware.

2. Can I recover the original key from my console's motherboard without using the original drive?

Come on, there must be a way. Suppose I send the console to MS... How are THEY going to get it working again with my drive being in this condition? Surely there has to be a way (any way) to find the original key.
