can my psp be repaired???

hi
ive just got a psp in a job lot of goods. it didnt come with a battery or charger so ive borrowed them off a friend. the battery will charge in the psp but when you turn it on the green light just stays on but nothing else happens.
as far as i understand if it is bricked the green light would only stay on for a few seconds then go off, but i could be wrong about this.
any help or advice would be appreciated

yeah that sounds like a brick, try changing the battery, if it still doesnt work then its a brick

does buying a modchip apply for any bricked psp?

it works for any bricked psp, and it depends....but i can't speak about it being worth it as i've never had one brick.

I thought it might have been a busted lcd screen but it sounds bricked, does the memory light flash ? have you tried holding down the r button whilst turning it on ?

memory card light doesnt flash (tried with and without a card in) and tried holding r down and still nothing.
it aint lookin good is it!!!!!

did u try removing the battery for 5 minutes, then putting it back in?
if that doesn't work, then you've got a brick.

You don't have to buy a motherboard to get it unbricked. It's much cheaper to have someone install a up chip,reflash the nand and remove the chip for you than to buy a new motherboard (as lond as it's a ta-079 or ta-081 motherboard).

LMAO yes I bricked both of my psp's in the same week . It turns out that my 2gig fake memory stick off ebay is no good for upgrading psp's I should have used my scandisk one lol. Not to worry I'm hoping to change that sig to UNBRICKED>3.03oe-b very soon.

I wish I had access to recovery menu, If I did my 2 psp motherboards wouldn't be sitting in a box ready to be shipped half way around the world LOL.
