OK, I have a fat PS2, with a network adapter, 80gb maxtor hdd and hdadvance. I have not done anything else. I can do all the stuff I should with games but now I'm confused about homebrew. Everythings an elf file. Do I have to do the memory card exploit? Or is there something else I can do which may be easier. Also for memory card exploit I don't have to use flip top or slide card do I? Basically, if I have to use the memory card exploit, can someone give me a link with a good how-to? Thanks for the help.

I have found a guide on how to install the exploit using my original HD Advance disc. http://www.exploitstation.com/articles/hdloader_independence.php But all the other ones involve putting some files on the memory card, do I not have to for this one? Also when I have the exploit installed how do I access stuff like a USB stick or the hard drive with elf files on to boot them???? Sorry for all the questions.

I think I have found another thing I can do, which I will try out. Some versions of AR MAX have elf files in, if I download uLaunchelf, replace an elf of ar max with it, put the iso on my hard drive, then run the thing from ar max, I should be able to boot other elf files from usb, memory card and hard drive. Am trying this out...
