I have a PS2 slim with the Duo3 installed about a year ago. It worked for my back-ups and orignials until now. I use only Verbatium for my back-ups. It would the odd time in the past give the Red Screen with insert PS2 format disk when using back-ups, you would reset and it would work (only with the back-ups) now it very rarely works with back-ups (like 1 in a 100 tries). Original games still work without a problem. I cleaned the laser and it did not help. I also search the forum and have seen nothing like this.

Please help,
TARD

I was also wondering if there is a update for the firware? Where could I find that if there is one? How do you do it...burn a disk with the info then insert it into the PS2 and it will update the Bios on the Mod Chip...or is there no such thing?
