Can some one please, please tell me what is the best setting in the psp recovery menu (3.03 OE-B) to play PSP isos. Only about 1/3 of my isos work and it's giving me a headache. Thank you.

there isnt much to edit in recovery mode to play isos. all my isos play, try this to see if they work:
1.50 kernel
No umd mode
have a umd inside

Does having a UMD inside really help? I'll go buy one today if it does and what kind (game umd, movie umd)?

yes it helps, the No-UMD mode doesn't work for every game, doesn't matter what kind of UMD you use, but u could get a demo umd and use that if u wanted as well, those are sometimes cheaper, or free.
