The screen stays black, even when the power is on and the green light is on- Has anyone else experienced any problems?

Oh, well I won it anyway so, what comes easy goes easy.

The recovery folder will not work because he was not at 3.03OE-B. That does sound like a brick and I am sorry I have to add you too the list of casualties. :(
