Please help with any suggestions at this point. I used the FixVTS since I was having errors with dvdshrink here is what I get after giving that a try.

I am not using Nero,
1. Why am I getting message about Nero
2. Is anyone else giving similiar messages, I know other are having issue with using DVD Shrink I have not had any problems until about a week ago what is going on besides the encryption being update. thanks

looks like you have a problem with

Error:\nCannot connect TRF.
This error has been associated with the latest version of nero6 version 6.6.1.4, this version will not function when used with DVDshrink for autoburning and there has been no fix as of yet. If you want to continue using shrink to autoburn with Nero, then..
Write down your Nero serial# and then uninstall version 6.6.1.4 from your system using the general cleantool found here:
http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html
Next, download and install version 6.6.0.18 from the links provided, re-enter the serial# and you're good to go.
nero version 6.6.0.18 updates:
Package 1

http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe
If you want to keep version 6.6.1.4, then you'll need to burn manually.

Thanks so much I thought that was the problem because it started after updated Nero. Now what I don't understand is why is Nero on the error information when I am not using it at all. I will follow your instructions.
Now about the physical and vitual memory how do I do that, do I need more RAM or what or is that a setting I can change. I know this is not covered here but can you direct me to where I can find out what I need to do thank you

you need to close all unnessary program no multitasking. free up some space on hd
i like to remove all ofserial # also when posting.

You guys are the best, I am still on it you are absolute right I have freeing up some space now. and thanks about the firmware update as well.

I will try that, I still can't get the Nero updates. I will try later. I have imgburn I will give that a shot. Now I have already used the fixvts can I go ahead and use imgburn. I will check out the guide thanks

If you FTP the server (requesting to browse its contents) you can get directly to the downloads. Just copy--past this address as you see it in IE's address bar and go.
ftp://ftp2.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/
Once you're connected to Nero's server look for the two files:
file 1 Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe
file 2 NVE-3.1.0.25_no_yt.exe
You should be able to easily download them from that location.
