MS28 drive gets detected in mtk but doesn't dump

i used xtreme boot maker and got a floppy ready with edited mtk flash. used the latest version and did select the two ms28 options.

now my drive shows up when i type mtkflash r /m orig.bin and i select it and turn the 360 off for ten seconds and turn it back on.
nothing happens!!!

even tried mtkflash r /sata /m orig.bin

THE TEN SECOND METHOD WON"T WORK!! Is it possible for someone to edit my mtkflash manually if i give you the values?? that would be nice.

MY CARD IS VIA 6421A and i bought it from:

and i also went throught the mtkflash stickied tutorial on how to fix no drive detected. was of no help. tried everything. but my drive is detected!!!

after ten second method this is what i get in one line:
port a000, primary/slave a0

wat do u think it means??? shuld it continue from here and dump??
i tried the back port of the card and nothing came up, then the port 1 and it shows up, no jumpers on card.

anyones help will be greatly appreciated!!!

hi,

oh man, first try 15 seconds, if no go then the problem is...

most people dont know this but that error means you need a metiatek chipseted cd/dvd drive pluged in. this is one of regiurements for 10 sec thethmod most people dont know about because most people have a mediatek based chipset in cd or dvd drive.

i have a western digital sata drive. and i also have pioneer dvr-111d!!

will any of those have it. the dvd drive isn't sata.

wouldn't the ms28 bad flash compatibilty and the other boke's batch for ms28 drives a work around? what is the cheapest drive with that chipset is their any list?

p.s i kept my ide plugged out (111d pioneer was disconnected) so can that be it?

(sony is the one that usually has mediatek right?)

hi,

try each of those, and leave one one at a time pluged, and remove everything else. i think the older cd drives you listed might have mediatek chipset.

i kneel down to u. got it dumped just gonna edit it now.

it was the philips that worked i had a feeling cuz through google i foound out that they got sued my mediatek. lol for copying their firmware or somefin
