Has anyone here tried these discs,iv used the search engine and found info on other discs but not this particular 1!!
Im using a Pioneer 105 drive,so far iv tried the following discs Bulkpaq, Generation 4, 4x speed (orange top)and not had much luck(major glitches towards end of movie)and iv also used the red Datawrites which were just as bad.So i read up in these forums and see that Ritek is the ones to go for with backing up my movies. Now i come across the discs iv mentioned at a good price,so has anyone used them?
Thank you in advance for any help!

G04 version 2's are great discs as long as you get Grade A discs.

I cant see why you wouldnt. Make sure not to run anything while burning as this can sometimes be the cause. Make sure you are doing it right with VIDEO_TS etc... Check out the user guides in my signature

Thanks i will try that, but first let me ask,the pc im using to back up my DVD's is a brand new 1 i brought for this purpose with evrything already insatlled,i didnt download the service pack for windows as i didnt connect this 1 upto the net,as i wanted to keep it just for the back ups. What im asking basically is is it worthwhile, formatting it,downloading the sp1,then upgrading my firmware?????????????????Or am i wasting my time? Thanks for any help, sorry to be a pain,,,,,,,,,,,,

The firmware has nothing to do with your Computer, its only the DVD Writer it affects. I like to be up-to-date, but i guess it doesnt matter if its just for burning.

It might be handy, but i doubt its a necessity. Make sure to have ASPI layers and all installed though.
