First of all, I want to thank all of you who help us newbies out! My question is, I know everyone says that Verbatim blank DVD's are a good choice for PS2 backups, but I can't find them in my area. How do the Sony DVD-R 16x blank DVD's compare to them. Are the Sony's still considered to be a "quality blank DVD?" Thanks in advance to all.

Sony are still good media, but try to steer clear of 16x if you can. 8x discs are better.
Another excellent quality media is RITEK G05 8x DVD-R
